A new hybrid powertrain is big news. A 3.5-litre EcoBoost V6 and 10-speed automatic is paired with a 35-kW electric motor powered by a 1.5-kWh lithium-ion battery. In addition to its outstanding performance, this engine can tow a significant amount of weight. A 7.2-kW onboard charger can also be used to charge tools on the job site. The new F-150 is, therefore, not just more efficient with this powertrain; it also delivers even more capability and impressive features that owners will use every day.
