On the one hand, the Ford Escape makes you feel like you're in another world, thanks to the wide range of colour choices, each one as vibrant as the next. In the hybrid powertrain segment, you'll indeed have the choice between a hybrid version and a plug-in hybrid version, depending on your preferences. These hybrids are equipped with a 4-cylinder 2.5-litre gasoline engine and two electric motors that combine to produce 221 horsepower. This is done, of course, without sacrificing fuel economy, which averages as low as 5.8 L/100 km in hybrid mode.
The Ford Escape also includes all the features that make an SUV perfect for the family, both in terms of its interior and safety. All of today's technologies are included, from Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Wi-Fi Hotspot, SiriusXM and available GPS, to wireless charging. Conveniences such as eight cup holders, the panoramic roof and, in the SEL and Titanium versions, the foot-activated tailgate, make it a fully equipped vehicle. Its towing capacity of up to 3,500 lb and its 974 L or 869 L trunk, for the hybrid versions, will allow you to carry everything you need.
The 2021 Ford Escape also comes standard with many of the convenient safety and driving assistance features of the Co-Pilot360 package. These include blind spot detection and front collision detection with independent emergency braking, as well as a rearview camera. The Titanium version adds another level by integrating adaptive cruise control as well as parking assist for successful parallel parking every time.
